How to Shop Zulily for Home Decor

We’ve been shopping the home sales on Zulily for several years now. We love to browse their flash sales and have found a few ways that we always search first! Lately, we have been sharing a few favorites in stories on a monthly basis.

For flash sales, it is a bit of a hunt. If you aren’t up for it, it can feel like you are sorting through a bunch of junk. Sometimes, you are!! But, there are gems within each sale and once you remove it from the clutter of less desirable items, your patience will pay off!

In addition to Zulily, we also love to shop flash sales on TJMaxx, Marshalls, and Nordstrom Rack.

With Zulily, you need to have an account to shop. It’s easy to set up, but it can be a bit of a roadblock if you are in a rush or on your phone browsing. Once you get over that hurdle, it’s smooth sailing! You do not need an app. Like LTK, they will promote the app every time you open a link . But, continue to browser and go on with it like usual!

Items we search for on Zulily:

Rugs, garden stools, accent tables, lighting, vacuums, outdoor pots, holiday/seasonal decor

Brands we browse:

Safavieh - rugs, lighting, occasionally side tables, coffee tables. Their ‘COUTURE” line is sometimes included, like this coffee table.

Dyson- always some selection of cordless vacs and fans. Usually refurbished, but we’ve purchased these and haven’t had any issues with durability!

Le Crueset- always a variety of colors and items. If you are building your kitchen collection over time, this is a good way to shop! They usually have a few neutral white/black/grey items available too.

Porch and Petal - pots, drop in arrangement, holiday decor if you want to stock up ahead!

Scout Bags- the most practical items and always on sale on Zulily.

Other tips:

  1. You can sign up for alerts if items are out of stock. Typically, although the items are ‘flash sales’, we do see many items cycle through each new release. So, if something is sold out, don’t think you’ll never see it again at that deal! That may be true though, so it’s a bit of a gamble.

  2. Cross reference your searches if something to see if you can find it at another retailer! This may allow you to see styled photos or reviews that aren’t provided by Zulily.

  3. Look past their styled photos - part of the reason Zulily may be able to keep prices low is that they aren’t styling and photographing each item. The stock photos are available, but look at an item for your own home and envision your more stylish pieces alongside it ;)
