We have found some truly talented women this year. We love when our readers recommend artists that they want to share, and we love hearing from the artists themselves! Meet Kendall:

Kendall Kirk Singleton has been painting ever since she could hold a paint brush, and art was always the highlight of the day in school. She graduated from Mississippi State University in May of 2015, and although she didn’t realize the reality of being a painter full time, her love for art grew into a full time job.

Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, she now lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi with her husband and opened her studio there at the beginning of 2018. 

Kendall works with a palette knife and oil paints for her subjects. Inspired by light and color, she works to create a balance between realism and abstracted elements in her colorful paintings. Her goal is to create art that is unique and fresh but will be loved for years and years to come. She loves how a piece of art can complete a room and be a constant reminder of something you love.
