Our Recent Purchases

It’s always fun for us to look back at our recent purchases. Although we’d love to buy many, many things we share, it’s just not practical. However, we do update and evolve our style as our families and tastes change.

In the second half of this year, we welcomed a baby boy into the FTF family, and picked a few new items for the nursery. We also took on a purely cosmetic guest bath update, and added some wallpaper and a hack for a polished pinch pleat shower curtain.

If you are interested in shopping more of our purchases, you can find them here.

You can also find more here (August 2019) and here (September & October 2019).

We hope you found some time to update your homes this year and that you found some items that you love!

A new baby boy nursery was on the FTF radar this winter, and these are the new items that we selected:

1 - Wicker cube storage- for all of the tiniest necessities

2- Scallop Flushmount- this is a statement maker that suits our 8’ ceilings

3- Woven Hamper- a great alternative to the famous S&L hampers

4- Acrylic frame - elevate any prints or photos that you already own!

5 - Floor lamp - the perfect item to tuck behind a glider

6 - White curtains- we added some trim to these and had them hemmed to fit the space

7 - Trim- selection for curtains above

8 - Blue Swirl Lamp - a small scale lamp perfect for the changing table

9 - Dapple Rug- this subtle texture is perfect and cozy

10- Bubble Fixture- a bit out of my comfort zone, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it! It’s perfect. Set up in stock alerts.

11- Scalloped bath mat - this is more like a plush towel that we use and then hang up, but its so cozy and stylish. We love the coordinating towels, too and are eyeing those.

12- Floral Wallpaper - We opted to keep our bathroom in it’s original state (half wall of tile), but wallpapered the top for an update. This blue and green was one of my favorites, and a low investment. It does require paste, but if you are pretty handy, then you should be able to DIY.

13- Pinch Pleat “Shower” curtain - these are not intended to be shower curtains, but we wanted a shower curtain that looked more finished and could hang closer to the ceiling. Using this with drapery hooks (included) and hook rings made for a great solution. Would also recommend for actual curtains- great quality!

14- New outdoor lighting - sometimes you just need an update!
