Savvy Wallpaper We Love
We’ve recently been inspired by the use of mixed materials and splashes of pattern - and what’s the best way to achieve this look? Wallpaper! Find our favorite finds to fit your budget in a variety of styles here! We know what you’re thinking: Wallpaper is so granny! But its has come so far from the red and yellow damask floral pattern that your grandmother had (although they still sell that, if you’re looking for it!).
We wanted to step outside of our normal daily finds to share some wallpaper that we’re loving. Don’t get us wrong - wallpaper is more expensive than paint. But if you’re dead set on a design, there are some things that paint just can’t accomplish. Here are a few of our favorite wallpaper designed spaces, so you can maximize your inspiration!
(The above image is from DeGournay hand painted wall coverings and designed by @studio_db. Check both out on Instagram!)
We’ve categorized some savvy versions by theme - some even offered in removable versions! (hello, commitment issues!)
Our Favorite Wallpaper Trends:
We can’t get enough of Paloma Contreras and this bedroom is the perfect mixture of an accent wallpaper wall and blended matching paint.
Jennifer Barron is a master at using mild patterned wallpaper to spice up an otherwise very traditional design. We love it!
Charlotte Lucas took this bathroom to the next level of sophistication with this statement Schumacher wallpaper. This is a different take on adding art to your bathroom.
Not all wallpaper has to have a pattern. David Scott Interiors elevated this foyer with the texture of navy grasscloth wallpaper. If you can’t commit to a pattern just yet, this offers another option for your space.
Wallpaper is also one of the best ways to spruce up a small space. Take risks in a closet, pantry, or powder bath. We love Lilly Bunn’s Powder bath!
